State After Care Home

Brief objective

Children who have been released from children's homes after completion of 18 years of age and have not completed their education/ skill education are placed in the State After Care Homes till the age of 21 years.

There are two State After Care Homes established at Amritsar for girls and at Ludhiana for boys.

Benefits

1. Vocational and educational services.

2. To fulfil the basic needs of children: food, clothing, shelter, education, medical aid and free boarding & lodging etc.

Eligibility

The Children who are in need of care and protection can take benefit from the scheme.
