Unnayan Banka

Unnayan Banka is an initiative which envisages Quality education at the doorstep of the bottom of the pyramid using Technology with a focus on ensuring continuous monitoring and accountability in the system. The initiative was launched in 2017 in covering 1000 students., which was later expanded to cover all schools .

Salient features

• Contexutalised content - presented as animated videos and video lectures that have been adapted to local conditions
• Multiplatform model of access and service delivery : To ensure the reach to the last mile, two mode of operations - On school (through LCD, TV, mobile) and online (through mobile app). Mobile vans with TV installed were also used.
• Daily assessment followed by response to queries by experts
• Capacity building of teachers to motivate and participate efficiently.
• The programme has been scaled up to cover coaching students for various competitive exams and also skill building to improve employability
